Mason Turns One!
So this little guy is officially one years old. Mason is such an easy going little kid it's hard to know that he is one years old. We were busy on his birthday with Miles so we didn't have a chance to celebrate him turning one years old. We did have cupcakes and boy did he love his cupcakes. Hopefully soon we can do a little celebration for him.
Mason is walking like crazy,
He can say Mama, Dada, Uh-oh, Baba, Nigh Nigh, Cracker, Thank You
He has three teeth on bottom and One on top. He is though getting three more on bottom and three on top.
He is always happy and mostly sleeps through the night
He loves his sibling and will do anything they want him to do
He loves food especially Chipotles and Chinese food

Mason Blessing Day
When we lived in Emporia, KS we had a sweet lady in our ward that made Ginny's blessing dress. She then made Miles blessing outfit after we had him. So we decided to reuse Miles outfit for Mason's blessing. Stephen and I decided who we wanted in the circle to give Mason a name and a blessing and we had to find a date so that we could make it work. We decided the last Sunday of July would work best. I am actually glad it was not the first Sunday of August, we had two baby blessings that day as it was. So on July 26, 2015, Mason was given a name in the church and a blessing. The name was Mason Allen Mitts.
We have been always blessed in having friends be in the circle to bless our kids. Such as when Ginny was blessed we had, Stephen's Dad John, Stephen's brother Jimmy, Peter, Michael, and Rich. It was so nice to have them there. For Miles we had Stephen's Dad John, Peter, Michael, Joseph, and Nathan. So for Mason, we had Stephen's dad John, Peter, Michael, and Stephen with Stephen in the circle. Stephen (my husband) gave Mason a nice short blessing like he did with our other children. He has never given long blessings of any sort or long prayers. The bad part was I couldn't hear the blessing as the mic was no close enough to Stephen. Though Stephen told me what he said later on.
I have been very blessed in being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Yes, it's been hard somedays but I have been blessed. I have three amazing kids who will not know what it's like not having the gospel. But, it will be their choice as adults on what they themselves believe in. I just hope that I help them find their own beliefs in the gospel that I have grown to love. When Stephen and I decided we should be sealed we didn't take it lightly. Though, we know that we will be together as well as with our children forever.

Wonderscope
They day before the fourth of July, Stephen had it off from work and we were babysitting my niece Abbi. We decided to take some time and head to Wonderscope. Wonderscope is a sensory museum for toddlers and preschoolers. So we headed out as early as we could to enjoy the morning and early afternoon at the museum.

Meet Our Newest Member of the Family: Mason Allen
So, I was ready for sure by the 9th of June. I had never made it to my planned c-section date with Ginny or Miles and really thought, that I would not make it that far with Mason. My was I wrong on that when the 9th arrived, I had to burn some time before I had to be at the hospital at 10:00am. So, I finished packing and cleaning the house and my mom and I went up to the hospital and registered. Stephen was sent to work by me that morning just so he would get some hours in for the week. Once I was registered in I was sent up to the fifth floor of the hospital. Where I was prep for surgery. Stephen arrived and we waited for twelve o'clock to arrive. Finally, I was wheeled in and got the spinal in my back which hurt more than it did with Miles to get it put in. As, they were getting me set up Stephen and my mom arrived into the room. Stephen sat near me and held my hand while my mom sat further away.
It was quiet in the room and finally, I heard Mason cry out. I also heard that he was peeing everywhere as they took him to clean him up and look over him. Then the nurses were talking in a rush as they were taking care of me. They called others into the room and I knew something was wrong. Where Mason was I could not see him and knew something was wrong. Stephen was with Mason and my mom moved closer to me. She told me that Mason was blue. I was then told that Mason was put on oxygen and they were looking him over. It was scary to know that I couldn't see him. Finally, he was doing much better and was removed off oxygen. I finally held him and did skin to skin with him.
When we went to our room, Mason was weighed. Stephen thought he was smaller then Ginny and Miles but were we surprised. Mason weighed 8lbs 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. He was longer than Ginny and Miles but weighed less than Miles. Once we were settled and I was doing skin to skin with Mason. We called to have a friend bring up the kids to meet their baby brother. Ginny fell in love with Mason right away. She actually said, "Mason has a little wee just like Miles and Daddy." She also says, "Mason is my favorite little brother." Miles, did not even want to touch Mason the first day and kept his distance from him.
Mason was able to latch on and breastfeed right away and it's been a great success. It was nice to have a small gathering of friends and family come to meet Mason.
