Catch-up: October

So...October was a busy month and just rushed by. Some of the things we did in October were.

Daddy went to College Classes on Thursday. So, we had some really relaxing nights. Which has made Miles really attach to my mom lately.

We cheered on the Royals who WON THE WORLD SERIES!

We worn our new Halloween outfits

We went to Trunk or Treat at Grammy's Work

Ginny's Soccer

Can you believe that Ginny is old enough to play soccer. My mom signed her up for six weeks of soccer classes to help her get some self confidence. She was amazing and really shined. She was one of the youngest in her group and she loved every second of it. She even scored a few goals. We can't wait to sign her up for another session of soccer.

Wonderscope

They day before the fourth of July, Stephen had it off from work and we were babysitting my niece Abbi. We decided to take some time and head to Wonderscope. Wonderscope is a sensory museum for toddlers and preschoolers. So we headed out as early as we could to enjoy the morning and early afternoon at the museum.

Ginny turns 4!

I can't believe I am a mom of a four year old. It seems just yesterday when she was born and now she has her second baby brother on the way. Anyways, we had a great day before she turned four. Miles was invited to a Kids Night Out at my old high school the day before Ginny turned four. So, we had one on one time with Ginny. We went to applebees for dinner then to Sheridians for dessert. Finally, we went and picked out a big girl bike and helment. The next day, Ginny had cereal for breakfast, and rode bikes with her cousin Abbi. We then had a nice evening playing and doing yard work outside. While, Ginny was playing with her Daddy, she took a fall and we ended up spending time in the ER before the day was up. Ginny had broke her arm in the fall. Other then that it was a great day.

Ginny had Surgery

So in July, we found out that Ginny had pretty bad teeth. It was something as a mom I did not really want to happen to my three year old. They told us they knew of at least four root canals but there might be more. So we scheduled a surgery date which was August 1st. The morning of August 1st, left me nervous for my little girl. She could not eat anything all morning which is hard to explain to a three year old. We ended up watching Frozen all morning to keep her mind off of her hunger pains.

Then it was time to head out. My mom happen to take off to comfort me during the ordeal. Ginny was given a shot at the beginning to make her super relax. She did not cry so the medicine had awhile to work in her system. Soon though she lost all head control and neck control and was zoning. She went in and had the work done and I sat in the waiting room hoping and praying she was okay. I was very blessed that my little girl got a priesthood blessing from her Dad (Stephen) and Grandpa (John) the night before. They came out and told us she was doing great and we would be able to see her soon. When I went in to see her she was wrapped in a blanket, like you would with a newborn in the nurses arms. She was sound asleep. When she awoke she barely had neck control and was very out of it. First thing she said, "I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR!" She was a trooper though through the whole thing. We found out that she had not four root canals but sixteen of them. Slowly she became her normal self.
